MUSIC The NEELB peripatetic
staff visit the school on a regular basis to teach the wind section and stringed instruments. The orchestra and
school choirs perform at the Christmas Concerts and the Prize Distribution Evening. An after school music club is held during the year where the children have the opportunity to sing, play musical instruments and give performances.
The school provides a wide range of sports and sporting activities as part of the curriculum for Physical Education and as extra-curricular activities. These include football, badminton, netball, table tennis, hockey and swimming.
School Clubs During the year a number of clubs are held after school for all children in Key Stage 2. These include calligraphy, computer, dance, table games, drama , netball, art (indoor and outdoor) and French. Cycling proficiency is held during the Summer term for the Year 7 children. Scripture Union is held throughout the year at lunchtime.
